Information Session on Digital Marketing Strategies Course

In partnership with the Department of Labour, Skills and immigration, Workplace Education Division, ISANS is hosting an information session for an upcoming free learning and certification opportunity.

Join this information session to learn more about the 40- hour ‘Digital Marketing Strategies’ course. This program addresses more than just social media, as it also explores not just what is available, but how to select and integrate the various choices available into a manageable strategy.

This 40-hour course will help you learn and understand Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Periscope, Youtube, Twitter and Instagram. More than anything this program addresses the question “Where are our customers, and how do we get ourselves in front of them?” Classes will take place every Tuesday for 10 weeks, from February 20^th to April 23^rd  2024, from 1.00- 5.00 pm.

• Receive an overview of the upcoming Digital Marketing Strategies course.
• Know if the course is right for you.
• Have an opportunity to get your questions answered and register for the course

 Topics for this Digital Marketing Strategy course will include:

• Understand and employ tactics to enhance an Internet presence including a website
• Evaluate on-line marketing channels
• Decide which on-line channels to participate in
• Develop and maintain an on-line presence
• Understand the advantages and drawbacks of on-line marketing channels
• Tie an on-line strategy with the overall marketing strategy
• Understand on-line advertising – (Facebook and Ad-words)
• Assess return on investment of energy and money invested in on-line marketing
• Use on-line analytical tools

To be eligible for this course, you must:

• Be employed (part or full-time) or a self-employed immigrant
• Be an ISANS client
• Have a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 5 or higher
