Childcare Options for Business Owners

The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) is committed to supporting the health and well-being of children and their families. They provide quality, inclusive, licensed, and play-based early-learning and childcare programs throughout the province.

In this session, you’ll hear from two experts from DEECD who will share:

• An overview of the two kinds of licensed childcare programs available in Nova Scotia: centre-based and family-based
• The regulations and requirements for each kind of program
• An overview of Nova Scotia’s transformation in childcare, leading to more quality, affordable, and inclusive early-learning and childcare programs

There will also be a question-and-answer period following the session. Ask anything else you’d like to know about early learning and childcare!
